What I think will happen is that the main character will have a "plan". Get married, go to college, make your way from there. (not a good plan) But what will happen is the opposite. Her "duties" (couldn't think of another word at the moment) will get in the way of classes, so she'll miss. a lot. more than usual. but she'll "educate" the teacher, making the way people think differently about women and what they can do.
